Pride Afterglow 2025, hosted by OURS IN THE USA in West Hollywood, gathered over 200 attendees from diverse locations, celebrating LGBTQI+ unity with music, performances, prizes, and homemade Ukrainian food. The event highlighted community connection, with a special plate-breaking ceremony for the documentary “Made for Freedom,” symbolizing liberation and support for LGBTQI+ migrants.
OURS IN THE USA participated in WeHo Pride 2025, representing the Russian-speaking LGBTQI+ community with over 120 attendees. The vibrant parade celebrated unity and visibility, featuring cultural icon Miami Queen Glitzer. President Dmitrii Tur emphasized the importance of annual participation for community solidarity and empowerment. A “Pride Afterglow” event is also planned.

This status enhances its ability to expand community programs and accept tax-deductible donations for the Russian-speaking LGBTQI+ community. The organization emphasizes its commitment to transparency and advocacy for human rights within this group.
On February 17, 2024, OURS IN THE USA hosted the inaugural meeting for the Russian-speaking LGBTQI+ community in Los Angeles, attracting 55 participants. This landmark event facilitated storytelling, adaptation discussions, and support exploration. It fostered a respectful environment and marked the beginning of future community initiatives and networking efforts among such immigrants in the U.S.
