Why this matters

For many members of our community, Pride is more than a celebration.

In fact, it is often the first time they can feel safe, visible, and accepted without fear.

OURS IN THE USA is a nonprofit organization. We support Russian-speaking LGBTQI+ individuals. Many of them fled persecution and are now rebuilding their lives in the United States. Because of this, Pride becomes especially important for them.

We have already participated in Pride events before. As a result, we brought our community together and created a safe, visible space.

Being present at Pride is not just symbolic – it is a powerful statement that we exist, we are not alone, and we belong.
