Mission

To unite the Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ community in the United States by creating a space founded on the principles of acceptance and empowerment. We aim to provide support, encourage mutual assistance, and promote personal growth. We fight discrimination, strengthen community connections, and advance inclusivity and equality. We believe everyone — regardless of political barriers or stigmatization — deserves a world where their sexual orientation, gender expression, identity, and country of origin are not obstacles to freedom and self-fulfillment but sources of strength and pride.

Goals

1) Ensuring Safety and Support

  • Informational Support: Provide up-to-date guidance for successful adaptation and legalization of Russian-speaking immigrants.
  • Basic Assistance: Temporary housing, food, and access to medical services.
  • Legal Support: Guidance on filings, rights protection in courts and immigration detention; counteracting discrimination.
  • Psychological Support: Individual and group counseling for LGBTQ+ members.

2) Creating Opportunities for Development

  • Employment Assistance: Support in job search and career advancement.
  • Education & Skills: Resources for education, professional skills, and learning English.

3) Strengthening the Community

  • Inclusive Community: Safe environment that promotes identity acceptance and mutual support.
  • Social & Educational Programs: Cultural, educational, and social initiatives to strengthen community ties.

4) Awareness and Visibility

  • Media Campaigns: Awareness initiatives countering homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia.
  • Dialogue & Visibility: Building connections with other immigrant communities to foster understanding and inclusion.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Positive representation in media and public spaces; cooperation with Russian-language media and local events; advocacy for inclusive, democratic, and safe societies internationally.
